FAQ’s

We do teach bartending in both BHMCT & BSc HS. However, in BHMCT there is a separate subject as Bartending which will help you gain in-depth knowledge of bartending.

Fees are Rs. 2, 00.000 per year for BHMCT + University charges + Charges for Books, Uniform sets and kitchen kit. (to be paid only once)
The Scholarship is available only for OBC

If you are admitted under the category which you belong to and also you fulfill all the required Govt. rules and regulations.
Then you have to pay only University and Uniform charges for First Year.

If you are admitted under the category which you belong to and also you fulfill all the required Govt. rules and regulations. Then you are eligible to avail the concession in the Tuition Fee as per Govt. norms.

If you are admitted under the category which you belong to and also you fulfill all the required Govt. rules and regulations. Then you are eligible to avail the concession in the 50% of Tuition Fee as per Govt. norms.

The government gives Scholarship / Free-ship only to SC & ST category students. All other categories will have to pay the fee as per the OPEN category.

Yes, as it’s a course where students are training in the hotel for 5 days a week and they mostly get absorbed in the same hotel post their degree.

Bachelor of Vocation in Hotel Management or Hospitality studies. It is affiliated to Tata Institute of Social Sciences. This degree is progressive degree. Means:
If candidate completes first year he/she gets diploma certificate, on completion of second year he/she gets advanced diploma and after the third year degree.
Students get hands on experience as they are placed in the hotel for on the job training. Students are expected to work 5 days in the hotel and attend classes once a week.

B.Voc in Hotel Management covers all the departments of the hotel. A student gets to learn each department operations over the course of three years.

Whereas B.Voc in Hospitality is more focused on Kitchen and restaurant operations.

For the abroad training, students have to bare all the expenses and those are paid to the training/ placement agency directly. The charges mainly are for travel & stay. Some hotel arranges accommodation and travelling too it depends on hotels.

Entrepreneurship Opportunities are available for both the courses. Having said that, BHMCT course will definitely be more beneficial for the same.

Yes, we do have hostel facility and the fees are approximately 1.20 lakhs per year which includes stay and food.

Since BHMCT degree comes under technical course. It is equivalent to the Engineering or a pharmacy degree.

The online test will have 100 questions based on English language, Reasoning (Verbal & Arithmetic) and General awareness including current affairs.

There is quota for physically challenged students.

You will get to work in all core and ancillary department of the hotel.

BHMCT allows students to pursue specialization in one of the core areas of the hotel. More exposure is given as this is a 4 year degree course.
However B.Sc. HS also covers all the common aspects of hotel management but doesn’t have scope for specialization.
B.Voc is a complete technical course where students 70% get on the job experience and 30% classroom session.

For BHMCT Course 50% of the Tuition Fee + Development Fee + University Charges + Uniform Charges.

The Placement officer extends their help during training period of both the courses. Student is given an option to select between domestic and international training.
Incase of domestic training, the TNP officer helps students getting placed in the hotels of their choice of cities.

BHMCT would be better as students get insight of entrepreneurship development, HR practices , Industry laws etc.

Around 40 thousand which can be paid in installments.

One internship of around 20 weeks included as a part of both the courses.

However we at college also stress a lot on English proficiency & Basic French level I & II are the part of curriculum as well.

BHMCT is a suitable course as there a separate subject as event management which enables students to gain the insight.

As a part of First year, the college organizes the hotel orientation visit for both BHMCT & B. Sc H.S course students.

As this course is more practical oriented, the student is working in the hotel for 5 days a week resulting into great job opportunities for them. Most of the time chances of students getting picked up before the completion of the course are higher.

The department is essentially responsible for taking care of the guest right from reservation till he leaves the hotel. The detail aspects of each stage of the guest, things are taught to the students.

60% Practical as it is a technical course. 40% theory.

Marketing is one of the important departments in the hotel. Post Hotel Management; there is ample scope for the same.

College will reopen as per the government directives. The admission process is –

Yes, you have to complete the cancellation procedure for B. Sc. H. S. Course.

Yes, since it’s highly work-oriented course.

The course has the core hotel subjects like Food production, Food & Beverage service, Housekeeping and Front Office. Apart from these in the first year there are generic subjects like communication skills and Computing skills. Second year onwards few management subjects are included in the course.

Atithya is our signature international event. Where students all over India and abroad participate in three days competitions. The last day is awards night where achievements of all the participants are celebrated and awarded in the presence of top industry people.

B. Sc. HS is recommended course as already the candidate is a degree holder from another stream.
