She has completed her diploma in hotel Management from IHM Kolkata in 1998 and has converted it to a BHMCT degree from Bharti Vidyapeeth Pune in 2020. She is currently pursuing masters in Hospitality management from RTMNU Nagpur. She has published four research papers in reputed national journals. She has professional experience of around 13 years in the hospitality industry, including 8 years as a HR consultant for an International IT company. She has been a part of the accommodation department of our college and also a part of the Training and placement cell.
She started her professional journey in the Taj group of hotels and has worked at the Taj Mahal Delhi and the Taj Westend Bangalore and has also undergone her industrial training at the Taj Bengal Kolkata. She also worked for the Lemontree Premier hotel in Pune as a part of the Pre-opening team and was part of the team which successfully started operations in 2018. Working with many chains and an international company in the Human resource department has given her an all round perspective of the industry which she applies in academics as well.
